Healing Touch Physical Therapy offers a clinical and innovative body conditioning program called Classical to Creative (C to C) Pilates. The 40 minute reformer class combines classical Pilates with scientifically based strength and cardiovascular training for an incredible full body workout in half the time. The creative design of each workout increases metabolism and burns more calories than a classical Pilates class. With each session you can expect the benefits of classical Pilates, namely improved strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, postural alignment and balance.

C to C Pilates utilizes the state of the art Stott’s RX reformer, the next generation of the traditional Pilates bed. The SPX reformer is designed to reduce stress on joints and tissues while maximizing muscle strengthening. The spring tension exercises along with the controlled movements provide a challenging workout that results in an increased fat burn and cardiovascular workout. Every class is tailored to the individual. The exercises are modified to safely challenge each client regardless of their level of experience or fitness. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises. The C to C method seeks to develop controlled movement from a strong core and believes the way the exercises are done is more important than the exercises themselves.
